A job mela organised by Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy received a strong response from unemployed youth.
Educated youngsters from surrounding villages attended the event, held at the City Center function hall in Huzurabad town on Monday.
Around 85 companies across sectors such as Information Technology, Healthcare, Finance, Retail, Manufacturing, Pharma, and Education participated, conducting on-the-spot interviews and selecting candidates.
Inaugurating the mela, Kaushik Reddy said the event was not part of any election promise but was aimed at creating a
future for educated youth.
He urged the youth not to depend on their parents after completing their education and to become self-reliant. “Instead of waiting at office gates for jobs, youth should work towards creating their own opportunities,” he said.
He further stated that migration to cities like Hyderabad, Karimnagar, and Hanamkonda in search of jobs should not be seen as a hindrance, but as a step in the journey of development.
Tech Mahindra, Apollo Health Care, HDFC Life, Dr Reddy’s, Big Basket, AlloFresh among several other companies took part in the mela.
