Expressing shock over the demise of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said that it is a huge loss to the Tamil society and Tamil Nadu has a great void to fill in.
Jayalalithaa passed away on Monday night in Chennai after suffering from cardiac arrest. 
Stating that Jayalalithaa created history in contemporary TN politics at a time when women entering politics was



rare, KCR said that it was both challenging and inspirational when she became AIADMK’s general secretary and went on to be the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
The Chief Minister further said that while Jayalalithaa excelled as a film artiste, she even proved herself in the arena of politics. Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao would be attending the funeral representing the state.
