Jangaon Ward Councillor Accused of Attempting to Sexually Assault Elderly Woman

In a shocking incident, a ward councillor allegedly attempted to sexually assault an elderly woman in Chagallu village in Station Ghanpur mandal of Jangaon district. 

According to the reports, the accused, identified as Sampath Raj, allegedly entered the woman's house around midnight and attempted to



sexually assault her. 

When the victim shouted, the accused hid inside the bathroom. 

Then, local residents rushed to the spot, locked him inside the bathroom, and alerted the police. A case has been registered against the accused, and further investigation is underway.
