The five-decade journey of Sri Sri Radha Madanmohan Mandir at Abids, Hyderabad, has been a spiritual journey rooted in devotion, service, compassion and human welfare, said Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla here on Tuesday.
The Governor, along with his wife, Janaki Shukla, participated in the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Sri Sri Radha Madanmohan Mandir and congratulated
the saints, devotees, volunteers and well-wishers of ISKCON Abids on behalf of the people of Telangana.
He recalled the contribution of Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who founded the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in 1966, and said the movement had carried the message of Krishna consciousness and spiritual awareness across the world.
