Inter Student Ends Life In Chilakalguda over harassment, assault

A 19-year-old intermediate student died by suicide under suspicious circumstances in the Chilakalguda Police Station limits on Wednesday, with allegations of harassment and assault emerging after her death.

The victim, identified as Jenima, was found hanging at her residence. According to her mother, Rama Devi, a youth named Jagadeesh had



been allegedly harassing her daughter for some time.

She further alleged that the suspect had recently forcibly entered their house and attacked Jenima when she was alone, leaving her frightened and distressed.

Family members claim that unable to cope with the fear and trauma, the young woman took the extreme step.
