iBomma Ravi Gets Partial Relief In Frozen Bank Funds Case

A city court issued orders allowing iBomma movie piracy case accused Immadi Ravi to use his bank accounts for his basic requirements. 

However, the court refused to release the Rs 3 crore that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case had frozen. 

The court order was passed while hearing a petition filed by Ravi's counsel stating that he was facing severe



financial difficulties as all his bank accounts had been seized and that he was unable to support his family. 

The counsel also requested the court to direct the investigators to immediately release the frozen Rs 3 crore amount. After hearing the petition, the court allowed Ravi to use the bank accounts for his own needs for normal transactions but declined to release the disputed funds.
