An elderly woman had to be shifted to another ambulance after a 108 emergency vehicle reportedly broke down while carrying her to a hospital in Yellareddypeta mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district on Saturday.

According to reports, Bhukya Jemili, a resident of Laxmipur Thanda, sustained a leg injury after accidentally falling near her house. Her family members immediately



called the 108 emergency service. 

The ambulance arrived and began transporting the woman to the hospital. However, after travelling some distance, the vehicle suddenly stopped at the Yellareddypeta mandal centre. 

Another 108 ambulance was immediately arranged, and the woman was shifted to the government hospital for treatment.
