The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (Hydraa) officials will resume ‘Prajavani’ from June 22 at Budha Bhavan to receive complaints in view of the monsoon. On May 6, Hydraa put it on hold to clear pending complaints.
A press release on Saturday said that the Prajavani resumed starting from June 22 to prioritise issues arising during the monsoon season. It advised citizens to provide detailed information in their complaints
regarding monsoon-related problems, areas prone to waterlogging, and the underlying causes.
Hydraa affirmed that a high priority would be given to resolving these issues and urged citizens to lodge complaints regarding encroachments on flood drains, lakes, parks, government lands, or spaces designated for public use. Complainants have to explain the causes of flooding and specify how long the problem has persisted, according to the press statement.
