HYDRAA Team Seals Seven Illegal Borewells in Tellapur

Continuing its crackdown on drilling of borewells without any permission, the Hydraa sealed seven borewells along with pipes in Tellapur gram panchayat limits in Sangareddy district.

Similarly, it destroyed half a dozen water sumps and seized water tankers after registering cases. In addition to protecting groundwater, the Hydraa is keeping a close watch on borewells drilled without permissions to ensure that local people do not face any



difficulties in water availability.

At the same time, several people expressed concern over rash driving by water tankers and selling it at will. Residents of several colonies and gated communities also expressed happiness stating that they were staying happily due to Hydraa’s actions. 

Many people urged that the illegal water supply racket should be completely stopped in places where there are ponds and wells.
