HYDRAA Removes Illegal Encroachment in Shamirpet

HYDRAA officials conducted a demolition drive at Friends Colony in Shamirpet, Medchal–Malkajgiri district, on Monday. 

Acting on complaints from local residents, a team led by CI Malleshwar demolished a compound wall that had been illegally constructed over a 20-ft-wide public road for nearly three decades, thereby



restoring free movement in the area. 

HYDRAA officials warned that strict action would be taken against encroachments on government land and public roads, and urged the public to report illegal constructions. Local residents welcomed the action, stating that it had eased long-standing traffic and access issues.
