HYDRAA on Thursday cleared encroachments in Jubilee Enclave, Madhapur, reclaiming nearly 16,000 sq. yards of land worth Rs 400 crore.
The Jubilee Enclave layout, approved in 1995 and regularised in 2006, covers 22.20 acres with nearly 100 plots and four parks.
Of these, two parks, measuring 8,500 sq. yards, were encroached, while 5,000 sq. yards of road space was occupied illegally.
HYDRAA also demolished an unauthorised
hotel shed built on 300 sq. yards of government land.
Residents of the layout had lodged a complaint through HYDRAA’s Prajavani platform alleging that one Jaihind Reddy had illegally occupied parks and public land gifted to GHMC.
After the field inspection confirmed the allegations, Commissioner AV Ranganath ordered immediate clearance. The demolition drive was carried out under the supervision of ACP Srikant and Inspectors Rajashekar and Balagopal.
