Hyderabad sizzles at 44 degree Celsius

Hyderabad on Thursday sizzling with mercury close to 44 degree Celsius and hot winds blowing across most areas.

Though the day temperature dropped a tad in several areas, the hot summer conditions remained the same and the denizens for most part of the day preferring to remain indoors.

According to Telangana State Development Planning Society, Moula Ali recorded the highest day temperature on Tuesday with 43.8 degree Celsius, followed by Bolarum (43.8 degree



Celsius), Narayanaguda (43.7 degree Celsius) and Srinagar Colony (43.7 degree Celsius). The average temperature recorded by India Meteorological Department (IMD) at Begumpet on Tuesday was 43.3 degree Celsius, which is 4 degree Celsius above normal.

The forecast with IMD shows that day temperatures would hover at 43 degree Celsius while there was a possibility of partly cloudy sky with development of thunder lightning on Wednesday.
