Hyderabad  received moderate to heavy showers on Thursday evening. Heavy spell, during the busy office hours, was recorded mainly in Western corridor – Attapur, Gachibowli , Madhapur , Punjagutta and  circles of  Secunderabad. 

According to Telangana State Development Planning Society, Mangalpalle received highest rainfall of 65mm, followed by Central University 60.3mm, Ibrahimpatnam 51.5mm, Airport 50.5mm, Viratnagar DMRL 46.5mm, Turkayamjal



46.5mm, Manikonda 39mm, Chityal 38mm and Nampally 37mm.

Meteorologists claim Southwest monsoon has revived across Telangana with formation of upper air cyclonic circulation. “There is a cyclonic circulation over west Central Bay of Bengal & adjoining South Coastal AP. A fresh low pressure area is likely to form over northwest Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood around August 13,” reads weather report issued by IMD, Hyderabad.
