Though Wednesday started with sunny weather conditions, by afternoon clouds gathered and the evening witnessed moderate rainfall in some parts and heavy rainfall in some places in the city. Till 6 pm, Abdullapurmet received highest rainfall at 65.3 mm, followed by Serilingampally (42.5 mm) and Pedda Amberpet (35.5), according to Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS).

Apart from Greater Hyderabad region, districts such as Adilabad, Medak,



Nizamabad, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri, Khammam, Kamareddy, Nirmal, Sangareddy and Jagtial too witnessed moderate rainfall on Wednesday.

The weather warning with RMC indicated heavy to very heavy rains likely to occur at isolated places over Telangana in the next three days. The Met department officials said monsoon has reached Rayalaseema region and it might take another two or three days to arrive in Telangana.
