The Hyderabad city sweltered on Sunday, which was the hottest so far this season at 42.4º Centigrade. But that was certainly better than Adilabad which recorded the season’s highest of 44.4ºC. Mahbubnagar recorded 44ºC.

Adilabad district in Telangana today recorded the highest temperature of 44.4 degrees Celsius in the state.India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a warning that heat wave conditions were likely to prevail at some places in north



Telangana tomorrow.

Nizamabad and Mahabubnagar both recorded maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius, followed by Ramagundam (43.4) and Medak (43.2).Mercury soared to 42.4 degrees Celsius in Hyderabad.

“The maximum temperature is likely to be above normal by 2 to 4 degrees and above 42 degrees Celsius at isolated places in the north Telangana and above 40 degrees Celsius at many places tomorrow,” IMD website said.
