Hyderabad Police to Deploy SHE Teams, DD and Drugs on occasion of New Year

The Hyderabad police asked the managements of star hotels, clubs, bars-cum-restaurants and pubs to display the below advisory at the entrance and inside their establishment on the occasion of New Year celebrations. 

In the advisory, the police said drunk driving (DD) is an offence under section 185 MV Act. Permissible alcohol limit is up to and below 30 mg/100 ml of blood i.e., 30 micrograms/100 ml of blood. Anything above that, as



recorded by a breath analyzer is a violation.

If anyone found driving the vehicle in drunken condition, a case will be booked against them. 

In such case, if any person with valid driving license accompanies him or her, they must undergo test. 

If found not inebriated, the vehicle will be given to him, otherwise vehicle will be shifted to the police station for temporary custody.
