Hyderabad police distributes wheelchairs for disabled citizens

City Police Commissioner, VC Sajjanar on Wednesday distributed wheelchairs among persons with disabilities at an event held at ICCC Building. The event was jointly organised by Vikalaangula Network, Freedom Association, Triple R Foundation and NAMC Trust.

Speaking on the occasion, Sajjanar said, it is the collective responsibility of all to stand by the vulnerable sections of



society, especially persons with disabilities.

“Beyond maintaining law and order, the police will always be at the forefront of serving people with a humanitarian approach. I wholeheartedly congratulate the voluntary organisations for arranging this great event. The support of the Hyderabad City Police will always be there for such social service initiatives in the future.”
