Hyderabad Police book cases against MLAs and ex-MLAs 'MCC violation'

The Hyderabad Police have registered three cases against several sitting and former MLAs for violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during polling for the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election on Tuesday.

Two cases were registered at the Madhuranagar Police Station against sitting Congress MLAs



Beerla Ilaiah, Ramachandra Nayak, and Ramdas.

Another case was registered at the Borabanda Police Station against former BRS MLAs Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar and Methuku Anand.

Police warned that strict legal action would be taken against those who violated the election code regulations.
