Hyderabad police advise residents to stay indoors 'Heavy Rains Alert'

The Hyderabad police have issued an advisory urging citizens to remain indoors and avoid unnecessary travel following the forecast of heavy rainfall until Monday night from India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad.

“Residents are requested to stay alert and avoid venturing out unless absolutely necessary. Those who are already



outside should complete their work at the earliest and return home safely before the intensity of the rain increases,” Hyderabad Commissioner of Police VC Sajjanar said.

The Commissioner cautioned people against travelling through waterlogged roads and low-lying areas, warning that such routes could become dangerous during heavy rainfall.
