Hyderabad: A 38-year-old man identified as Mohammad Haneef was arrested in Kukatpally of Hyderabad after he allegedly sent triple talaq message to his wife though a postcard. The arrest came a day after his wife lodged a complaint against him.
According to reports, Haneef, a supervisor at a textile showroom was married to 26-year-old woman from Talabkatta (Hyderabad) on March 9.
A day after the marriage, Haneef left the house and later told her that he is undergoing treatment in a private hospital and will not be able to come home for a few days.
But on March 19, the



wife received a postcard from his residential address in Kukatpally in which Haneef wrote talaq three times and later called her up regarding the same.
In his letter, he added that the decision was taken in presence of two people.
The hapless woman then went back to her parental house in Talabkatta and informed her parents about the incident who approached the police and filed a complaint against Haneef.
The police registered a case of cheating and nabbed Haneef from his house. According to the police, it was a second marriage for both Haneef and his wife.
