Hyderabad lashed with heavy rains hits normal life

The twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad lashed with heavy rains disrupted the normal life on Friday evening. Heavy rains in some parts of the city were preceded by strong gales. 

Water logging, traffic jams and power failure were reported from several areas. Power supply was badly



affected in almost all parts of the Old City. 

There was no power for several hours in several areas, including Masab Tank, Lakdikapul, Panjaguttta, Ameerpet, Srinagar Colony,  SR Nagar, Erragadda, Sanathnagar, Nacharam, Kapra, Madhapur, Gachibowli, Raidurgam and Shaikpet.
