Hyderabad‑based Research Centre Imarat (RCI) played a key role in the successful salvo launch of two indigenously developed Pralay missiles, test‑fired in quick succession from the same launcher off the Odisha coast on December 31, 2025.
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) said the launches, conducted around 10.30 am as
part of user evaluation trials, met all mission objectives.
Both missiles followed the intended trajectory and achieved the required parameters, confirmed by tracking sensors deployed at the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur in Odisha. Terminal events were validated through telemetry systems installed onboard a ship near the impact area.
