Hyderabad hosted its first-ever Interfaith Pride Fest at Bagheen Café, bringing together over 200 people from diverse religious, spiritual, and queer communities.
The event was not just well-attended but deeply moving, insightful, and celebratory of the intersections between faith, queerness, and identity, Patruni
Sastry, Curator, Interfaith Pride Fest, said.
The evening opened with a powerful panel featuring Chinmayee, Avijit, and Vaibhav, who spoke about how classical dance has been a spiritual anchor and expression of identity for them, followed by a captivating Odissi drag fusion performance by Khemaya, a trans-woman from Odisha.
