Hyderabad High Court gives its approval to publish final revised voters' list by ECI

The High Court in Hyderabad has given its approval to publish the final revised voters’ lists by the Election Commission of India. Lifting its earlier direction that the Voters’ lists should not be published, the court yesterday approved publishing of revised Voters’ lists on tomorrow.

Congress leader M Shashidhar Reddy, the Bench comprising of the Chief Justice TB Radhakrishnan and Justice S V Bhatt asked the poll body to come out with an action plan to address discrepancies in the voters’ lists. The Chief Electoral Officer Rajat Kumar later said that the revised voters lists will be published on tomorrow.
