Hyderabad GHMC organize bus for migrant workers

Following Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao’s instructions to extend all support to migrant workers, Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin arranged a bus to facilitate migrant workers reach their native places in Bihar on Sunday night.

The Deputy Mayor personally monitored all the arrangements and handed over the essential food items like biscuits, fruites, water, bread, toasts etc., at NRR



Puram Site1, Borabanda.

The bus was arranged after all the permissions were accorded by the State government. The migrant thanked the Deputy Mayor and the GHMC for providing food items and arranging permission to help them reach their hometowns. Disinfectants were sprayed in the bus before commencing the journey.

About 50 migrants, including children, who were residing in Borabanda boarded the bus.
