Hyderabad electors urged to submit SIR forms before Aug 10 deadline

Hyderabad district completed 58.41 percent of digitisation so far, according to the Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana, who released data on the digitisation of all 33 districts in Telangana on Saturday.

Hyderabad district continued its rank as lowest district, while Yadadri Bhongiri district completed 94.30 percent of digitisation and stood as the top district in Telangana.

Meanwhile, District Election Officer RV Karnan urged electors in Hyderabad district, through an advisory, to submit their completed enumeration forms under the Special



Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls at the designated Collection Centre or the concerned ERO Office without waiting until the last day. He said the submission window will close within two days, on August 10.

Electors could also submit the enumeration form online through the Election Commission of India (ECI) portal, without waiting for physical submission, he said.

Electors who failed to submit the duly filled enumeration form within the stipulated time might not have their names included in the draft electoral roll, he added.
