Doctors at Hyderabad-based Apollo Fertility on Tuesday said that they have successfully treated a 34-year-old woman suffering from secondary infertility, a condition in which a woman is unable to conceive after having previously given birth to one or more biological children.
According to doctors, they enabled the woman to conceive through a structured and minimally invasive
approach.
Following an initial evaluation that revealed an unhealthy endometrial lining, Dr Aradhya Achuri, fertility and IVF specialist, identified endometrial adhesions and bilateral tubal blockages. “These conditions significantly reduce the chances of natural conception. We restored tubal patency and cleared adhesions using diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy,” Dr Aradhya said.
