Hyderabad CP Sajjanar Warns Against Neglect of Elderly Parents

The city Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar, in a video message, expressed deep concern over the increasing instances of elderly parents being abandoned or neglected by their own children.

Drawing from his experiences as Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, and during his service in TGSRTC, Cyberabad, and various districts, he said this disturbing reality has shaken him



deeply. 

The Commissioner stated that he meets numerous petitioners every day, but cases involving elderly parents left helpless due to neglect by their children are particularly heartbreaking and unacceptable. 

He stressed that caring for parents is neither a favour nor a burden, but a birthright, leaving no room for excuses or debate.
