Hyderabad CP Sajjanar urges citizens to stay alert 'Heavy Rain Forecast'

City Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar on Thursday appealed to citizens to remain alert in view of the forecast of heavy rainfall over the next two days and advised them to avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rains. 

He urged people to closely follow weather updates and advisories issued by the Meteorological Department and plan their daily travel in advance, taking into account forecasts.

movement and road conditions at Punjagutta and Khairatabad junctions and reviewed the situation on the ground. 

He said the city police were working in close coordination with the GHMC and other government departments to minimise inconvenience to the public during the monsoon. 

Traffic personnel have been deployed at vulnerable locations and will remain available in the field to prevent congestion and respond to emergencies.
