Hyderabad City Police launch 'Operation Kavach'

The Hyderabad police as part of “Operation Kavach” conducted a large scale vehicle checking and frisking exercise in the city on Friday night.

As part of the operation 5000 policemen drawn from Task Force, City Armed Reserve and local police participated in the operation.

Commissioner said the operation is aimed at controlling the anti social activities and movement of unsocial elements in the city.

“It is the largest operation being done to instill and sense of safety and security among citizens. It is aimed to bring fear in unsocial elements,” said VC Sajnnar. The police deployed 10 drones to monitor the operation.
