Hyderabad city police arrested 3 people 'Burglary Cases'

The Hyderabad police apprehended three persons for committing a series of burglaries and other property offences across various Commissionerates.

The arrested have been identified as Derangula Hari Babu alias Nani (21) and Tanniru Surya alias Suri (22), both residents of Suraram and Narala Rahul (21) of Nagole. The police also apprehended an auto rickshaw driver Sabavat Ravi (27) of Moulali for receiving the stolen property.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Gaikwad Vaibhav Raghunath, said Nani, who was released from jail in June 2026, formed a gang with Surya and Rahul after his release and resumed committing a series of house-breaking and other property offences. Nani was involved in 27 cases, Surya in 13 cases, and Rahul in three cases. They were currently involved in 11 cases registered at Gowraram, Sangareddy, Pocharam IT Corridor, Nagole, Kushaiguda, Medipally, and Vanasthalipuram police station limits.
