Hyderabad airport bags CII award

GMR Hyderabad International Airport has won the CII award in the service sector among large scale companies. Indian Organisations have been adopting 5S Practices to create a positive and competitive work environment for its employees. Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) instituted the 5S Excellence Award in 2005 to motivate and recognise CII Member organisations on their 5S Practices.

The award



is open to small, medium and large scale companies in the southern region from manufacturing and service sectors. Participating companies are awarded based on a structured on-site evaluation process by a team of assessors as per select criteria.

The award ceremony of the 12th Edition of the CII Southern Regional 5S Excellence Award was held on Friday in Chennai.
