Hot and humid conditions will continue to prevail in Telangana for the next 24-hours, India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad in its forecast on Wednesday said.
“Hot and humid conditions are very likely to prevail at isolated pockets in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool districts. Strong surface winds up to 30 to 40 kmph are very likely to prevail at isolated pockets in all districts,” the forecast said.
The Telangana State Development Society (TSDPS) weather data has said that the highest temperature of 38.6 degrees Celsius was recorded at
Tirumalagiri Sagar in Nalgonda district. In the Greater Hyderabad region including Cyberabad and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts, the highest temperature of 37 degrees Celsius was recorded at ESS Quthbullapur.
The day temperatures hovered between 35 degrees Celsius and 37 degrees Celsius in Rangareddy, Chevella and Sangareddy districts.
The IMD, Hyderabad weather data indicated that between 8.30 am on Tuesday and 8.30 am on Wednesday, the maximum temperature of 37.2 degrees Celsius was recorded at Hayatnagar, followed by 36.7 degrees Celsius at Begumpet, 36.5 degrees Celsius at Hakimpet and 36 degrees Celsius at Patancheru.
