Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) will conduct several awareness programmes by involving students, NGOs, volunteers, corporate employees on the theme of water conservation, as part of World Earth Day to be observed on Monday at NTR Gardens.

During a meeting with representatives of Water Leadership and Conservation Network (WLCN) here on Wednesday, HMWS&SB, Managing Director, M Dana Kishore discussed about the proposed plans and awareness programmes.

HMWS&SB had launched WLCN to educate customers on the need to conserve water. He enquired about the activities being conducted by the six zones of WLCN and wanted them to conduct awareness programmes all through the year, said a press release.
