The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), which recently faced a technical glitch, has now started using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to analyse and redress the complaints and improve water supply.
The HMWSSB could be the first water board in the country to adopt AI technology.
Over the past year,
officials from the IT department have analysed complaints registered with Metro Customer Care (MCC) using AI technology.
Complaints along with tanker booking details, have been tested to identify the most frequent issues, areas with the highest number of complaints, and recurring concerns from various perspectives, according to an official release.
