Security tightened at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad a week ahead of the Independence Day. 

According to the intelligence reports, the security has been alerted sensing a terror attack on Independence Day. The airport authorities have cancelled the visitors passes following the alert from August 10 to August



20. The airport has been put on high alert till August 20. 

Meanwhile, the airport authorities in a tweet requested the passengers to cooperate with the security personnel and also reach the airport in advance as the check-up might take longer due to the tightened security.
