The redevelopment of Hi-tech City Railway Station at a cost of Rs 26 crore has been completed, and the station is ready for inauguration.
The Indian Railways, as part of its vision to provide world-class facilities to passengers, has taken up a major transformation with the upgradation of railway stations on a massive scale under ‘Amrit Station Scheme’.
In Hyderabad, Hi-tech City Railway
Station, the nearest railhead to reach the cybercity, a prominent place for the IT industry, has been redeveloped as an Amrit Station, the South Central Railways said in a press release.
The Hi-tech City Railway station falls on the Lingampalli– Secunderabad suburban route and serves the passengers in and around Hitech City area, especially the western side of Hyderabad city, which is undergoing rapid development.
