Helping Hand Foundation (HHF), the voluntary organisation involved in public health, has established three Basti BP and Sugar Clinics at MM Pahadi, Suleman Nagar and Chintalmet, to make healthcare services related to Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) accessible and affordable in urban pockets.

These clinics will serve

a population of approximately 65-70,000 individuals, mostly from low-income households. The caregivers from these clinics will take up door-to-door screening for BP and Sugar, along with BMI measurement to identify existing cases of NCDs and those that are potentially at risk of NCDs. Each subcenter has 3 to 4 well-trained healthcare workers.
