The Hyderabad MET department on Sunday evening issued

An orange alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall to Hyderabad and several districts of Telangana between August 14 and 17 has been issued by the Met department on Sunday. A yellow alert for heavy rainfall for August 11 to August 13 was also issued.

The orange alert, which is expected to have rainfall ranging from 115.6 mm to 204.5 mm between August 14 and 17, has been issued for Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu,



Nalgonda, Mahabubabad, Yadadri Bhongir, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy and Medak districts.

An alert for rainfall of 64.5 mm to 115.66 mm between August 11 and August 14 has been issued for Mulugu, Nirmal, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhongir, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts.

The Met department forecast also indicated that light to moderate rainfall will continue at many places throughout the State till August 17.
