Widespread rainfall occurred across core areas of Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts throughout the day on Wednesday. While multiple regions in Hyderabad recorded moderate rainfall ranging from 20 mm to 40 mm, the outskirts of Rangareddy district reported between 93 mm and 70 mm of rainfall by Wednesday night (8:30 pm).

Due to a low-pressure area over Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, and Rangareddy districts are expected to receive extremely heavy rainfall over the next 24 to 48 hours.

Throughout Wednesday, however, moderate rain was recorded in several parts of

Hyderabad. Based on rainfall data from the Telangana Development Planning Society (TSDPS), the Rajendranagar area in Rangareddy received a maximum of 46.5 mm, followed by Chandulal Baradari in Bahadurpura (45.3 mm), Khajaguda Sports Complex in Gachibowli (38.8 mm), the Langar Houz area (36 mm), and Sardar Mahal in Charminar (35.5 mm).

Several regions in the Rangareddy districts reported heavy rainfall, including Balapur, which received 93.5 mm; the Shamshabad airport area, 87 mm; the Maheshwaram industrial area, 85.8 mm; areas near Ibrahimpatnam, 68.5 mm; and several regions in Shamshabad, 63.3 mm of rainfall.
