Heavy security at Telangana Assembly ahead of Budget Session

Heavy police security has been deployed around the State Assembly in Nampally, ahead of the commencement of the budget session on Monday.Geographic Reference

The Assembly proceedings are scheduled to begin at 11.45 am, with the Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla addressing the joint sitting of both

Houses on the first day.

The House is expected to be adjourned after the Governor’s address.

Meanwhile, Left parties have called for protests and a march towards the Assembly, demanding that several public issues be taken up for discussion during the session.
