Several train services in the Hyderabad Division of South Central Railway (SCR) were severely affected due to the recent heavy rains and water overflowing on the tracks in the Bhiknur–Talmadla section. Following this, the railway authorities announced diversions and partial cancellations of trains on Saturday.

Trains diverted:

Train No. 17641 Kacheguda–Narkher Express will run via Vikarabad, Parli and Purna, skipping the Kacheguda–Purna section.

Train No. 17058 Lingampalli–Mumbai CST Devagiri Express will run via Lingampalli, Secunderabad, Vikarabad, Parli and Parbhani, bypassing stations including Bolarum, Nizamabad, Basar and Nanded.

Train No. 17020



Hyderabad–Hisar Express is diverted through Secunderabad, Vikarabad, Parli and Parbhani, skipping stops such as Medchal, Kamareddy, Nizamabad and Nanded.

Train No. 07015 H S Nanded–Tirupati Special will run via Nanded, Parbhani, Parli, Vikarabad and Secunderabad, skipping Mudkhed, Basar, Nizamabad, Karimnagar and other stations.

Trains partially cancelled:

Train No. 20810 H S Nanded–Sambalpur Express.

Train No. 77605 Kacheguda–Purna DEMU.

SCR authorities advised passengers to check for updates before planning their journeys.

The disruptions are expected to continue until water recedes and track safety is restored.
