Heavy rainfall, thunderstorms forecast across Telangana till August 14

The Hyderabad MET department on Friday has issued a heavy rainfall alert for Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal districts of Telangana.

Apart from heavy rainfall alert, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph)



are likely to occur in all districts of Telangana, the Hyderabad MET department said.

Based on the week-long forecast of IMD, Hyderabad, a combination of heavy rains, thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds will continue across all parts of the State till next Thursday, August 14, 2025.
