Heavy rain forecast in Telangana in next 48 hours

Heavy rains are likely to occur at one or two places in Telangana on Sunday and Monday, the met department bulletin warned on Friday. It said Thursday’s low pressure area over Jharkhand and the adjoining Gangetic West Bengal has become less marked. The upper air cyclonic circulation over the northwest Bay of Bengal and



its adjoining Odisha persists. 

Under its influence, a depression is likely to form over the west-central and its adjoining northwest Bay in the next 48 hours. As a result, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana from Saturday to Wednesday.
