Multiple districts across Telangana are bracing for significant rise in day time temperatures in the coming days.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad in its weather forecast on Saturday indicated that nearly 25 districts are likely to witness maximum temperatures hovering between 36 degree Celsius and 40 degree Celsius.
Barring eight districts including Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Mahabubabad, Nalgonda, Siddipet, Suryapet, Warangal
and Bhongir, maximum day time temperatures in the rest of the districts are expected to rise.
“Maximum Temperatures are likely to be above normal by 2 to 3 degrees at isolated pockets over Telangana,” the IMD-Hyderabad in its forecast said.
With temperatures being forecasted to rise across Telangana, the Director of Public Health (DPH) on Friday issued an advisory urging the general public to take precautions against heat related health issues.
