HCA elections for posts of secretary, treasurer on March 12

Electoral Officer of the Hyderabad Cricket Association, VS Sampath, has issued a notification on Saturday for elections for the posts of secretary and treasurer to be held here on March 12 (next month).

“The list of eligible full members of the HCA to take part in the elections, i.e. entitled to vote and to contest in the elections, as furnished by the CEO, with the approval of the Administrator appointed by the Telangana High Court, with the names of representatives who were invited/attended the last AGM on 19-7-2025, is put up on the notice board at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium here,” according to a media release.

“It is also important to duly certify that the proposed representative is not a member of any of the 57 clubs which were barred from contesting and voting in the elections to the HCA vide the orders dated 31-7-2023 of the Single Member Committee, Justice (Retd) L Nageshwara Rao, former Judge of the Supreme Court of



India,” it is informed

“Any change in authorised representative should be submitted on March 3 and 4, 2026, between 11 am and 5 pm to the person in charge of the inward section of the HCA at the ground floor of Uppal Stadium and take acknowledgement. Applications received beyond 5 pm on March 4 will not be considered,” it is stated.

The election schedule is as follows: Issue and receipt of nominations – 5-3-2025 (11 am to 3 pm), 6-3-2026 (11 am to 5 pm)

Scrutiny of nominations – March 7, 2026

Withdrawal of nominations, if any – March 9, 2026, 11 am to 4 pm

Publication of final list of contesting candidates – March 9, after 4 pm

Campaign period 10-3-2026, 11-3-2026.

Date of election if required – March 12 from 10 am to 3 pm

Counting and declaration of results – March 12 after 4 pm.
