Hyderabad High Court today adjourned the case related to farmers’ suicides in Telugu States for six weeks and directed the States to spell their decision on implementing the suggestions given by the farmers’ representatives.

            The High Court heard the case of farmers’ suicides

. The governments of both states have revealed that they conducted a meeting with the representatives of the farmers’ community. The farmers have suggested that both Telugu States set up a special State-Level Agriculture Commission for solving problems of farmers. Responding to it, the Court said the suggestion was good one. The counsels of the States submitted to the Court that they needed some more time to implement the farmers’ suggestions.

At one point of time, the High Court pulled up Andhra Pradesh government for not explaining about the policies being implemented to help farmers.
