Harish Rao slams Congress over poor focus on govt schools

Former Minister T Harish Rao said that the Congress government has completely neglected the education system in the government sector.

Addressing students and teachers after inaugurating a computer lab at Zilla Parishad High School in Chinnakodur on Friday, he said that the government could not even build a single school building in the last 20 months.

He recalled



how the BRS government led by K Chandrashekhar Rao had strengthened the education system in the government sector during its ten-year rule. Rao said that Siddipet district stood among the top two positions for eight consecutive years in Class X results in the State, as he had put in a lot of effort.

Rao called upon students to focus on their studies by staying away from social media.
