Harish Rao seeks probe into Bhupalpally DTO’s death

BRS Legislature Party deputy leader T Harish Rao demanded a thorough investigation into the death of Bhupalpally DTO Venkanna, suspecting involvement of sand and coal mafia. He sought to know whether the officer was killed in an accident or was it a planned murder.

Ghanpur police station limits. The incident took place while the DTO and his staff were conducting a vehicle check outside the Regional Transport Office (RTO) on Monday morning.

In a statement, Harish Rao questioned whether officials who stood in the way of alleged sand and coal mafias were being targeted. He urged the government to investigate and initiate stringent action against the alleged illegal operations and the individuals behind them.
