BRS deputy floor leader T Harish Rao left for New Delhi on Monday, leading a three-member party delegation to prepare legal strategy ahead of the Telangana High Court’s verdict on the PC Ghose Commission on Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme.

The delegation, which includes former MP B Vinod Kumar and Rajya Sabha member Vaddiraju Ravichandra, will hold consultations with senior Supreme

Court advocates.

Party sources said Harish Rao’s visit was focused on exploring options to challenge the commission headed by Justice PC Ghose if the High Court delivers its verdit on Wednesday, against them.

The BRS leadership, including former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, already challenged the legality of the Commission and its findings in the High Court.
